How do I get started?
|

Bags are rented either through credit card directly or via purchase of baggies points.
Rentals are weekly based and members can keep the item for as long as 12 weeks provided
the account is well maintained. Rental from 2nd week onwards comes with 5% discount
every additional week, cap at 30% from week 7 to week 12. Hence the longer the rental
duration, the higher the savings.

What are baggies points?
|

Baggies is a point system in which members acquire points and redeem them to borrow/procure
services and products at thatbagiwant.com. Using Baggies, there are additional rental
savings of about 8.5% to 17% on top of the weekly discount scheme. |

|

|
|
|
|
Baggies can be acquired by purchasing from thatbagiwant.com or given as promotional
points. Baggies are sold under the following pricing schemes. The higher the purchase,
the higher the quantum is of bonus baggies points. |

Enjoy a one-time 20% more baggies if you top up baggies during your birthday month.
The complimentary birthday baggies will be credited into your account upon verification
of the date of birth.

I understand I can get free Baggies for cleaning my handbags. What are the details?
|

In our own small way to encourage members to rent, share or re-use handbags to do
our little bit to help save our environment, we have entered into a partnership
with Colorwash Pte Ltd, a leading up-market professional cleaning company for handbags
and shoes. For every handbag dry-washed at Colorwash, you will get a rebate of 100
Baggies credited into your member’s account. Just submit the invoice number, invoice
date, name of Colorwash branch and amount via email to bagcare@thatbagiwant.com.sg.
Pl note that this will only take effect from 1 May 2009 onwards and members must
claim the rebate within 6 months from the invoice date. For Colorwash locations

Are your handbags really designer originals?
|
|
|
|

|
We carry ONLY Authentic Designer handbags. To ensure our items are 100% authentic,
our bags are purchased only at the boutiques. We do not take chances by purchasing
from online or secondhand retailers.

Are the designer handbags new or used?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The bags are brand new when we purchased them. We do not purchase our bags from
any secondhand retailer. However, as the bags are subjected to rental, you may or
may not receive a brand new bag. Nevertheless, we believe in maintaining the highest
standards for our bags and we will never deliver a bag that does not meet these
exacting standards. All bags are quality controlled and hand inspected to ensure
your complete satisfaction.

Are there any monthly payments? |
|
|

Unlike other companies, we do not impose any "membership" fees. At thatbagiwant.com,
the only time you need to pay is when you decide to carry a designer bag or accessories.

How do I become a member then?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Registration is free. You become a member of thatbagiwant.com the moment you register
with us. Members get to enjoy savings on rentals and other privileges like notices
on new handbags, checking out multiple handbags, etc.

What is “I Want It” and “Queue For It”?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
“I Want It” and “Queue For It” shows the status of availability of a particular
handbag or accessory. “I Want It” is an indication that the item is available for
rent immediately. “Queue For It” means that the item is currently with another member
and by clicking the icon, member will join the queue for the bag.

|
|
|
|
|
How do I know the waiting time of a particular bag? |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
As the member who is currently holding on to the bag may do an extension, and other
members in the queue may drop out of the queue anytime, it is not possible to show
the waiting time with good accuracy. Nonetheless, members who wish to know the estimated
waiting time can write in to customerservice@thatbagiwant.com.sg to enquire about
the estimated waiting time. |

Do I get an incentive for introducing my friend to thatbagiwant.com?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Yes, simply send us your friend’s email address. When your friend subsequently signs
up with thatbagiwant.com and proceeds to make purchases, we will top-up your membership

How long can I "borrow" a handbag?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
As long as you maintain your account well, you can keep it for as long as you would
like, up to a maximum of 12 weeks.

Can I "borrow" more than one bag at a time?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Members can check out up to a maximum of 3 handbags and/or accessories at any one
time.
|

How about delivery costs and other hidden costs?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At thatbagiwant.com, delivery costs are absorbed into the
rentals. We strongly believe in the “price you see is the price you pay” concept.
No hidden costs whatsoever!

When does rental start and end? |
|
|
|
|
|
|
At thatbagiwant.com, we are committed to ensuring that your “rental time” is as
long as possible. Delivery is not considered a part of the rental period. Rental
time does not start until the item is delivered to your door. You are entitled to
keep the item for as many days as it was ordered. As an added convenience, we send
all customers a reminder email and/or SMS notifying them of their return date 1
day before the item is due.

How long will it take to receive my bag after ordering?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Trust us; we know the feeling. You like the bag and you want to get your hands on
it ASAP. Delivery time can be as short as 4 hours from the time the order is made
depending on the timing of the order and the availability of our courier team.

How do I return the bag? |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Simply access your member’s page to indicate your preferred date, time and collection
location, and we will be there at your doorsteps to receive the bag from you. Hassle
free.

What if I don’t see a particular bag I like?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
We thought to ourselves that since it is a membership website, who else besides
the members themselves to decide which handbags thatbagiwant.com would carry. Just
send us the exact brand and type of your type dream bag and we will go on a shopping
for you. No guarantee though as this is dependent on the availability of the bag
and our purchase policy.

How do you work out the rentals?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Each bag is valued individually based on its demand, requisition price and condition.
Rentals are worked out based on valuation price and estimated shelf life.
|
|

What if I can’t bear to part with a bag?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
At thatbagiwant.com, bags can be purchased based on our valuation price. However
we may at times disallow the sale of a particular bag due to its availability and
popularity. Just email us at customerservice@thatbagiwant.com.sg and we will revert
with the decision and quotation.

|
|
|
|
|
What if I lose the bag or it becomes dirty or breaks?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
If any of these unfortunate things happen, the first thing you should do is to call
our customer service team immediately.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
(a) Lost Handbags
If the rented item is lost, you will be charged a replacement fee, which can vary
depending on the handbag in question. See (c) below for replacement fees.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
(b) Dirtied/Damaged Handbags
If bags or accessories are dirtied or damaged, we will ask you to return the bag
to us as soon as possible so that we can assess the extent of the damage. When making
our assessment, we will take into account the length of time for which you had the
handbag or accessory, and normal wear and tear that commensurate with that length
of usage. If damage beyond normal wear and tear has been suffered by the handbag
such that the bag becomes incapable of being repaired or restored to its original
condition, you will be charged a replacement fee. If we determine that the damaged
handbag is capable of being repaired or restored to its original condition, you
will, in our discretion, be charged a lesser amount instead of the applicable replacement
fee for that handbag. See (c) below for replacement fees. |

(c) Replacement Fees
Each bag or accessory is valued individually based on its demand, requisition price
and condition. This valuation price is also the replacement fee of the bag. Unlike
other websites, we see no reason why replacement cost should be higher than what
we value the bag for. |

How do I enjoy the HSBC Promotion?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
If you are a cardholder of the 14 HSBC credit cards listed at the website, you will
enjoy savings when you use the card for your online transaction at PayPal. During
checkout, simply select the type of the HSBC card at the Promotion Code box and
key in the first 6 digits of the credit card number at the Code Number box to proceed
with the transaction. This promotion is only applicable for rentals and extensions
but not valid for purchases of Baggies and RTO programme. For verification purposes,
please present the HSBC credit card to our courier staff upon delivery of the rented
item.

What is RTO Programme?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
RTO (Rent-To-Own) Programme allows members to possess fashion designer handbags
and accessories on an own-as-you-rent basis. Any item that is qualified under the
RTO Programme is given a RTO factor. Essentially this factor shows the number of
weeks the handbag or accessories could be owned by any member if it is rented without
any break in rental period. For instance, if a RTO handbag has a RTO factor of 12
weeks, this means that member can own the handbag if it is rented continuously for
12 weeks, at NO EXTRA COST.

What is Member-RTO (M-RTO) Programme?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Just like RTO Programme, members can own designer handbags and accessories on an
own-as-you-rent basis. The difference is that these are handbags and/or accessories
from members. Members placed these handbags and accessories with thatbagiwant.com
on a consignment basis.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
How do thatbagiwant.com guarantee that handbags under the M-RTO Programme are authentic?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Members who placed their handbags under the M-RTO Programme are registered members
with thatbagiwant.com. Before the handbags are placed into the programme, thatbagiwant.com
undertakes a stringent process to ensure that the handbags are authentic and in
good condition. All handbags must be bought from boutiques or reputable resellers
and come with official receipts or authenticity cards. Over and above the checks
by thatbagiwant,com, members who participate in this programme are also required
to sign a written agreement to assure the authenticity of the handbags that are
placed in the M-RTO Programme.

Can I use Baggies to rent handbags under the M-RTO Programme?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
No. As the handbags belong to members, you will not be able to use existing Baggies
to rent M-RTO bags. In fact, the weekly discount will not apply too. These are for
accounting purposes.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
What are the procedures if I would like to sell my handbags through the M-RTO Programme?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
First of all, you must already be a thatbagiwant.com member. Next, send us an email
at rto@thatbagiwant.com.sg to indicate your intention and we will revert with a
Bag Information Form for you to complete. Essentially, you will be asked to send
us the descriptions of the handbags you wish to sell. Complete the form, send it
to us via email, and we will be at your doorsteps to collect the handbag/s. You
will also be required to sign a Consignment Agreement to guarantee the authenticity
of the handbags you are putting up for sale, amongst other terms. The Agreement
is valid for 6 months and if the handbags are unsold by the end of the 6-month period,
the handbags will be returned to you.

What are the charges and commission involved for selling my handbags through the
M-RTO Programme?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Members are required to pay a non-refundable upfront cash $50/- consignment fee
for every bag placed in the M-RTO programme. This will cover the administration,
photography, maintenance and courier costs incurred by thatbagiwant.com. When the
handbags are rented out, thatbagiwant.com will collect 20% commission of the rental
proceeds.

How fast do I receive payment when my handbags are rented out to other members?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Members receive progressive payments, by way of cheque, as their handbags are rented
out. The faster the rentals for the bags are paid, the faster the rental proceeds will be paid out. Members can expect to receive the proceeds 2 to 4 weeks from the date where rental proceeds are received by thatbagiwant.com.
|
|
|
|
|
|

I have a branded handbag to sell but the condition isn’t new. I am not sure whether
it can be placed in the M-RTO programme?
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Currently only selected brands are available for sale at our website, namely, Chanel,
Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Prada, Loewe, Balenciaga, Miu Miu, Bottega Veneta,
Burberry, Christian Dior, Coach, Kate Spade, Versace, Marc Jacobs, Celine, Chloe,
Ferragamo, Fendi, Jimmy Choo, Mulberry, YSL, D&G and Tod’s. If your handbag is not in
the listed brands, we will not be able to place it in the M-RTO Programme. Also,
the handbags in our website are pristine new and all less than a year in circulation.
We can only accept your bag if it is almost brand new.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds will be given at the discretion of the Company Management.
